What did you already know of the material presented in the lesson?

I already knew everything about today's lesson because it was a review for our test. Today we reviewed getting R.E.A.L. in class. Getting R.E.A.L. is an acronym for checking the legitimacy of a website. The "R" in getting R.E.A.L. stands for read the URL. In order to read the URL the reader must see if they recognize the domain name, know what the extension stands for, and find out whether or not they’re on a personal page. The "E" in getting R.E.A.L. means to examine the content of the website. To examine the website the user should go to archive.org. On archive.org the user can view past pages of the website. The "A" in getting R.E.A.L. represents asking about the author. To ask about the author, one should go to easywhois.com. Easywhois.com tells you the author and/or owner of the website. The "L" in getting real signifies that one should look at the forward and back links. To find the links, the reader goes to google and uses the link command. These are what the letters in the acronym R.E.A.L. from getting R.E.A.L. stand for.
